Focus passage: Give us the bread we need for today. Luke 11:3
In seminary, a professor made something quite ordinary extraordinary.  She pointed out that the word “remember” means to bring together, to re-member.  It is sacred, it is holy, it is bringing together the ordinary with the sacred.
Remember how God gave us something to do, an outward sign of an invisible grace.  We break bread together, we share cup together, not just here, but at every meal we are offered the same opportunity, to remember.
Prayer: God thank you for providing all that we need for a healthy life.  I pray for the wisdom to choose what is good and to recognize the abundance that you provide so that I can share with others.  Amen..
