What we do matters

Daily reading: 2 Corinthians 4:16-5:10
Thursday June 16, 2016

Focus passage: So we are always confident, because we know that while we are living in the body, we are away from our home with the Lord.  We live by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:6-7

How we treat one another matters in this world, not so we can earn a place in heaven that has already been given to us it is a gift not a reward, that’s why we call it grace.  How we treat one another matters in this world, because as agents of Christ’s love and grace we either can help others experience the presence of God or hinder them with our words and actions.

Consider building up rather than tearing down with your words and actions today.

Prayer: God help me to build up your kingdom today.  Help me to walk by faith and not by sight.  Guide my words and my actions.  Amen.
