Radical love
Daily
reading: 1 Corinthians 13:1-13

Radically welcoming in everyone requires
that we practice the ethic of love. With
diversity can come challenges and strains. Throughout his letter Paul addressed this fragmented
and fractioned community. Rather than
celebrate their diversity and the riches that it brought to the community, they
splintered and fought and pointed fingers.
Rather than throw the towel in, Paul encouraged them to push through and embrace their diversity with love. Love is not just a feeling, it is also a verb, it is a dream of what can be.
Prayer: God be
the word of love in my actions today, God be the word of love in what I see
today, God be the word of love in my words today, God may I live your amazing
love today. Amen.
