Daily reading: 1 Corinthians 12:1-13
Tuesday May 17, 2016

Focus passage: So I want to make it clear to you that no one says, “Jesus is cursed!” when speaking by God’s Spirit, and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:3

The Spirit begins by calling us to faithfulness.
The first undeniable sign of the Spirit’s activity in someone’s life is their confession of faith in Jesus as Lord.  The Spirit is no respecter of human made boundaries and comes to empowers all who believe.  The gifts that are offered come to each of us in different degrees.

Prayer: Come Holy Spirit come, move in and among my community of faith, stir us and awaken us to Your call in our community today.  Amen.
