Movement of the Spirit

Daily reading: Acts 17:1-9
Tuesday April 19, 2016

Focus passage: Some were convinced and joined Paul and Silas, including a larger number of Greek God-worshippers and quite a few prominent women. Acts 17:4

The initial reaction to resurrection is a convergence of different communities coming together, broadening and enhancing the fabric of ministry.  There are members of the synagogue, along with Greek God-worshipers and prominent women in the community.

Even despite opposition, even in the height of the struggle, Paul sees this not as a reason to stop, or even as a setback, it is merely a bump in the road, something that slows you down for only a moment.

Prayer:  God help me to share my faith story with others.  Help me to find the words that will speak to others.  Amen.
