Letting Go

Daily reading: Mark 6:1-13
Friday February 5, 2016

Focus passage: He was unable to any miracle there, except that he placed his hands on a few sick people and healed them. Mark 6:5

Mark opens us up to have the conversation and to contemplate the places in our lives were we resist God’s activity.  He brings to our attention the reality that we all have grudges that we can’t let go.
We all have regret that keeps us up at night from time to time when it surfaces. We all have wounds that can at times define us.

We all can get to a place where we wonder if we can really hand over to God the things that are dragging us down and holding us back.

Is there something that is holding you back from embracing opportunities that are right around the corner, or maybe in your face that allow you to experience the healing and restoring presence of God in community?

Prayer: God open me up to experience you in a new way today.  Amen.
