Following Jesus

Daily reading: Mark 10:17-31
Sunday February 14, 2016

Focus passage: As Jesus continued down the road, a man ran up, knelt before him, and asked, “Good teacher, what must I do to obtain eternal life?” Mark 10:17

During this Lenten season we will explore what it means to follow Jesus to the cross.   We will explore what it means to embody a faithful community that embraces the suffering of Christ.

The question has shifted from last week’s and the previous week’s which were focused more on the identity of Jesus to this question:
What does it mean to follow Jesus?

How does that decision impact your life?

Prayer:  God help me to let go of the situations and possessions that keep me from fully embracing and loving you and my neighbor.  Amen.
