November 28, 2015
Focus passage: The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; the calf and the young lion will feed together, and a little child will lead them. Isaiah 11:6
Tomorrow the season of Advent begins. It is a time of introspection and of patient waiting. Through the season we explore the themes of hope, peace, joy and love. We ground ourselves in the biblical witness that reminds us that God’s kingdom is very different from our present world.
In it we find that love wins over hate, that compassion wins over vengeance, and that youthfulness will lead us all.
Prayer: God infuse me with your love so that my words and actions can be a reflection of your deep love for all of humanity. Amen.
