God is everywhere

Background passage: Matthew 13:33

Focus passage: Where could I go to get away from your spirit?  Where could I go to escape your presence? Psalm 139:7

This is my favorite psalm.  It both comforts me and challenges me.  Where can we go and escape the presence of God?  The psalmist cannot imagine a place where God does not exist.

Take time to read the psalm slowly today.  Write down where it is speaking to you.

Prayer:  God may I embrace the bounty that you have provided in my life so that it can be a generous gift to others.  Amen.
