Love through the Spirit

Daily reading: Romans 5:1-11
May 27, 2015

Focus scripture: This hope doesn’t put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5

God doesn’t send hardship or struggle our way, but God is present with us in that struggle.  The sign of the Holy Spirit working in us, isn’t whether or not we have hardships, it is how we react to the hardships when they come our way.  Does the love of God show through even when we are pushed to or beyond our limits?
When we invite God to work with us through our struggles and trials, we will find that we are strengthened in our faith.

Prayer:  Come Holy Spirit Come, help me when I face struggles and trials today.  Amen.
