Don't be Afraid

Daily reading: John 6:16-21
April 18, 2015

He said to them, “I Am. Don’t be afraid.” John 6:20

We get our share of strong winds in El Paso especially in the spring.  Strong winds on the water can be unsettling especially if you don’t have a motor on your boat.   You really have to just wait and see.
Storms remind us of how little control we have in our lives.  The disciples are out in the middle of the sea during strong winds and a rough sea and Jesus comes to them walking on the water.
He assures the disciples that it’s going to be okay and not to be afraid.
God is present with us even when life is out of control.

Prayer:  God thank you for being with me in all seasons of my life.  Amen.
